Thanks for these comments...
Dear Chief Ward,
While you may not have carried the District 9 race this time,
congratulations on the nearly 2,500 votes you did collect! Please don't be
discouraged with the outcome. This first race is an important learning
experience in preparation for the next election. You will be running for
office then, won't you? I and so many others just like me will be counting
on you! Please forgive me for not e-mailing your campaign sooner when first
hearing about your candidacy -- it was very exciting to have a wonderful,
viable candidate to run against Carolyn Coleman, especially someone who was
not afraid to speak the truth and who did not dance around the Project
Homestead affair. Thank you so very, very much for that. Win or lose on the
official ballot, those of us who care about the truth won yesterday. Thanks
be to God. Thank you, Chief Vernon Ward. Sincerely, BKB
God Bless you Vernon you are the best. WE
You guys aren't losers. You've done a wonderful job of getting the message
out and the good thing is two years from now maybe everybody will realize
you're on the right side. DJ
Tony,
Well your man made a good showing. That district is just tough. Looks like
Republicans were not in favor this go round. Encourage him not to give up.
I've seen a lot of folks that lose first time out and comeback to win.
Tony,
It's not your fault and it's not Vernon's fault. It's just the numbers you
were up against. Thank you for running and good luck in two years.
Hello Tony,
I just wanted to drop a quick line that hopefully you can relay to Mr. Ward.
I hope he's not too disappointed. It may be a small consolation today, but
in our republic, it is important that we have viable candidates running
against incumbents. Vernon made a contribution to the voters simply by
giving them a choice -- that is no small contribution and one for which he
should be proud. |
